The CRA has announced the payment date for the November 2025 Alberta child and family benefit. The CRA will send the payment to all beneficiaries without any delay; read this article to check the payment date and more.
The Alberta Child and Family Benefit is received for each benefit year, which runs from July to June, in four installments with a gap of four weeks. The CRA sent out the payment in August, November, February, and May.
For the benefit year 2025-26, the first payment was sent out on August 27, 2025, and the second is all set to be released in November 2025. The ACFB payout for this month is going to be the same as the previous payout.
What’s the November 2025 ACFB Payment Date?
The Canada Revenue Agency will send the payment for the Alberta child and family benefit for November 2025 on the 27th of the month. If you are a beneficiary of this payment, you surely will get this payment without any delays.
Note that if you get the payment via direct deposit, you will receive the benefit in your bank account within a few hours; and in the case of the paper cheque, you have to wait for at least a week or even more to receive it.
In case of any technical error, you can expect payment in your bank account by December 2, 2025, and you will receive the payment via paper cheque—please wait until December 5, 2025, to receive it in your mailbox; there will be a huge workload—it may be delayed until December 10, 2025.
How much will be received?
The payout received from the Alberta Child and Family Benefit depends on the number of children, family net income, employment income, and marital or family status. Note that the ACFB has two components, which are
- Base: It is for all families of Alberta, whether they are working or not.
- Working: It is only for Alberta families who are working and have employment income above a certain threshold.
Both components are tax-free; the CRA has disclosed the payment rates for the July 2024 to June 2025 benefit year, and the maximum annual payout amount with a certain number of children is available below.
Base component:
- 1 child: $1,499/year
- 2 children: $2,248/year
- 3 children: $2,997/year
- 4 children or more: $3,746/year
Working component:
- 1 child: $767/year
- 2 children: $1,465/year
- 3 children: $1,883/year
- 4 children or more: $2,021/year
The maximum base and working component is received by families whose adjusted family net income is $27,565 and employment income is $46,191. If the threshold is exceeded, your payout will phase out.
Suppose that you have two children, and if you are eligible to get the maximum benefit of the base and working component, you will get the payment of $928.25 in November 2025.
What if the benefit is not received on time?
The CRA is all set to release the direct deposit and paper cheque on November 27, 2025. The direct deposit takes up to 5 days in case of any technical error, but in the case of a paper cheque, you have to wait 10 days or even more.
If you don’t get your Alberta child and family benefit for November 2025 even after waiting for a certain period, you should get in touch with the Canada Revenue Agency to know the reason behind the payment delay.
If there will be any problem from the side of the CRA, they will resolve it shortly, and then you will get your payment. Note that if there is any problem with your eligibility, you may be asked for the documents.
