UnitedHealthcare Robocall Settlement Payout Date
The North Carolina Eastern District Court has preliminarily approved the settlement agreement proposed to resolve the lawsuit against UnitedHealth Group filed by Marden’s Ark Corp. earlier and set the claim deadline as 24 June 2025.
The class members who have filed the claim form before the deadline and are waiting for the payment should know that the distribution will begin only after the federal court approves the settlement. The final approval hearing is scheduled on August 04, 2025, at 2 PM, and only after the approval, the administrator will prepare for the payout.
The administrator can take around 60 to 90 days to process the payment to the valid claimants, meaning around November 2025. However, if someone appeals against the court decision, the administrator has to hold back the payment until it is resolved, which can push back the payment to another 3-month wait.
What’s the UnitedHealthcare Robocall lawsuit about?
Plaintiff Marden’s Ark Corp filed the lawsuit against the UnitedHealth Group, alleging that Optum Community Health Workers have made robocalls to wireless telephone numbers under the Optum at home program with the user’s authorization, violating the TCPA Act (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).
Optum is the defendant subsidiary that offers health care services, and through an at-home program, it provides in-home care to patients. The defendant does not agree with the allegations, but agreed to resolve the lawsuit to compensate the affected class members.
As per the preliminary order, a settlement of $1.8 million is proposed to settle the lawsuit and compensate the affected people. The lawsuit grants compensation to people affected due to the robocall during the settlement period, even when they never authorized it.

Who will receive the UnitedHealthcare Robocall Settlement?
The UnitedHealthcare Robocall settlement payout will be given to you if you meet the following conditions and file it before the deadline:
- You used to get automated or prerecorded (robocalls) from Optum Community Health Workers during the settlement period, when you were not a member or subscriber of UnitedHealthcare or had excluded yourself from receiving such calls.
- The UnitedHealthcare Robocall settlement period is between December 11, 2019, and March 27, 2025.
Exclusion:
- You have filed the request to exclude yourself from the settlement before June 24, 2025.
- The judge or judicial staff and their immediate family members cannot claim the settlement.
- The successors or legal representatives of the excluded person cannot claim the $1.8 million settlement.
- The subsidiary, successors, parent company, employees, or any entity related to the defendant cannot claim the settlement.
How much can you expect from the settlement?
The settlement fund of $1,846,500 will be used to compensate you, pay settlement administration expenses, service award, or a fee award. The settlement agreement does not state the payment amount for the claimants, as it will be distributed pro rata.
The settlement payment amount depends on the number of claims filed and the net settlement fund remaining after the administrator’s process litigation costs, service awards (up to $5000 awards), and others. So, the payment amount will be the surprise element for all the claimants.

If you have any more questions, you can contact the administrator directly and learn about the status of the settlement to estimate your expected payment date. However, if everything went well, there is no appeal, and the court grants the approval, you can expect the payout by the end of 2025.
